John Littlesun Murie is an enrolled member of the Chippewa-Cree tribe of Rocky Boy Reservation in North Central Montana. His art reflects the environment he grew up around as can be seen in his use of color and design. John uses art as a way to show how Indigenous people of North America are thriving and relevant to modern art even through traditional arts. His art reflects traditional stories and design as well as contemporary ideals.John earned an Associates Degree from The Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1996 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art from The University of Great Falls now known as Providence University in 2010. Murie now coordinates and teaches the art program at his home reservation Tribal College, Stone Child College. He also creates works for private collectors and museums as well as traditional wear for fellow tribal members. Available in Turquoise, Red, Lime Green, Dark Teal, Pink, Olive Green. Imported

 

Cotton Care Instructions: Machine washable cold water. Wash colors separately, do not twist/wring. Tumble dry on a cool setting or dry in shade to avoid fading. Use a hot/warm iron on a cotton setting. Dry cleanable.
